When I talk to people who have never been to a U.F.O. Conference, and who in many cases don't really understand what the term U.F.O. really means, I can see that they have a very Disney-esque or completely dismissive view of what goes on a such a conference.

They are surprised (for some reason!) when I tell them that we have world class speakers, researchers and authors speaking on a variety of topics related to interdimensional reality, advanced technology, alternate history, alternate reality, advanced physics and the manipulation of electromagnetic fields. At least, half or more of the people I see at these conferences are Christians, usually of the independent-thinking variety. That fact usually surprises a lot of people.

There is a U.F.O. Conference culture, once you go to some of these events you begin to catch on. But, there is plenty of room for maverick researchers and authors. For me, it's a place I can go and run into people who read the same books I do and research the same subjects. There aren't a lot of them, but they're there.

The Eureka Springs Conference is not a large event, but it must be one of the longest running independent conferences in the world and it attracts a lot of respectable names in the world of Ufology.

For me there were two truly outstanding presentations given at the last conference. Paul LaViolette spoke about Zero Point Energy and the problems with the current theory. Learn more about his work at his website, www.etheric.com.

Dr. Joseph P. Farrell  has done years of research into ancient technology and German history. These are both areas I have a particular interest in, so I was thrilled to see a fellow Germanophile at the conference. I was amazed at the depth of research, the amount of study, devotion and analysis that went into his books. He has a series of books out that are the best I've ever seen on the subject of Nazi technology. Even if you were no intrested in the technological aspects of his research, the historical connections that he makes are mind blowing to any lover of modern German history. His latest book which encompasses ORMUS, alchemy, occult organizations, Hermeticism, and Nazi technology from information culled from declassified documents, including patents, is nothing short of breath taking. He tries to make it easy for anyone to understand, but it is not a light read. It helps to have a little background in occultism. It is brilliant!
